Yes. Every account starts with a 30-day free trial with every feature unlocked, and no credit card required to sign up. Two limits apply while the trial runs: you can invite up to 2 colleagues, and the account can send 200 emails a month (1,000 once you subscribe). Both limits lift the moment you subscribe.

Somebody holding a live link on a portal you have not closed. That is the whole test, and it is a running count rather than a total: close a portal when that round of onboarding is done and everybody on it drops out together, freeing those places for the next group. Closing also ends their access: their links stop working until you reopen the portal. Contacts with no live link are free, so you can import four hundred people and sit at zero, and somebody on six portals counts once. Your plan includes 25 at a time, with no limit on how many people you put through in a year. WorkZerk counts your active people once a night, so somebody you add and finish with on the same day never reaches the count at all.

Yes. Invite them from Account, then Team, and each one is a flat $4 a month (or $38.40 a year), added to your subscription and prorated from the day they join. They sign in with their own email and password and work inside your account: building portals, chasing documents, approving uploads, editing contacts. Everything they do belongs to your account, so branding, links and history stay consistent no matter who did the work. Billing, your profile and who else has access stay with you as the owner, and you can revoke access at any time. On the free trial you can invite up to 2 colleagues; subscribing lifts that.

Nothing stops working and no upgrade is forced on you. Above the 25 included, each extra active person costs 5 cents a day, about $1.50 a month each, and only for the days they are actually active. So a fortnight of heavy intake costs a few dollars, not a bigger plan. Here is what that works out to:

Figures use a 30-day month and the $9.95 monthly price, and exclude extra users and any GST or VAT. On the annual price the same extras apply on top of $7.91 a month.

Extra active people come out of prepaid credit on your account, which you add from Billing in amounts from $20. Each night WorkZerk counts your active people, works out that day's charge and takes it from your credit, and the charge is always for the number the Billing page showed you. If your credit runs out we email you and keep everybody's links working: we never cut off people who are part way through onboarding. If you know a large intake is coming and would rather agree a fixed monthly price for it, talk to us.

Yes. The moment an action takes your account past 25 active people, WorkZerk tells you on screen how many you now have and what the extras cost, and it goes ahead rather than blocking you. Billing always shows your current active count, what today's charge is and what you have been charged this month, so you can see it building rather than meeting it on an invoice. If your count climbs on its own, because people register themselves through a link, we email you.

Yes. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time, before or after the trial ends, and there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel during the trial you are never charged. If you have already paid, your access runs to the end of the period you paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of it unless the law requires us to. Cancelling three months into an annual plan leaves you the remaining nine months of access rather than a refund.

Payment is processed by Stripe. WorkZerk never sees or stores your card details. Every invoice is available to download from the billing portal, where you can also change card, switch between monthly and annual, or cancel.

Your records are not deleted the moment you cancel: an account that has paid is kept for around 9 months after it goes quiet, so you can pick up where you left off if you return. We email you four times before anything is removed, and signing back in or re-subscribing at any point keeps everything. You can also download the lot, including the files people uploaded, from Account, then Export my data, at any time. A trial that never converts is deleted 60 days after it starts.
