Contractors signed up and cleared, without the email chase.
Send each contractor one link, or put a QR code on the site gate. They upload their insurance and licenses, sign your agreement and complete the induction on their phone. WorkZerk chases whatever is missing and files it all against the right person.

Sound familiar?
"Can you just email your certificate through?"
Then it arrives as a phone photo, in someone else's inbox, with no expiry date written down anywhere.
Someone turns up at the gate unchecked
Their paperwork was half done, nobody knew, and now the choice is send them home or let them on.
Every trade needs something different
Electricians need a trade license, drivers need vehicle details, everyone needs the induction. One PDF form cannot do that.
How contractor onboarding works in WorkZerk
- Step 1
Build the intake once
Start from the ready-made contractor pack for Australia, New Zealand, the UK or the US, then add your contractor agreement to sign and the site induction as a checklist.
- Step 2
Invite them, or let them sign up
Add contractors, or import a CSV straight onto the portal so each one gets their own link. Or share a self-registration link or QR code and let them add themselves.
- Step 3
Approve, and let the status follow
Approve what comes in, reject with a reason, and let an automation move them to "Cleared for site" when the paperwork is approved.
What you can collect from a contractor
- Public liability certificate
- Workers compensation certificate
- Trade licenses and tickets
- Photo ID
- Signed contractor agreement
- Site induction, step by step
- Business details such as their ABN or tax ID
- Emergency contact
- Trade-specific documents, shown only to that trade
Self-registration by QR code
Turn the self-registration link into a QR code for the site gate, the induction slide or the email to your subcontractors. People arrive with a record already made.
One intake, many trades
Trade-specific asks sit in sections limited to named people, or gated on an answer like "what are you here as?". Nobody sees questions that do not apply to them.
Agreements signed by version
Your contractor agreement is versioned. Each acceptance is pinned to the exact version, with the time and a typed name or drawn signature.
Reminders that chase for you
Contractors who have not finished get reminded automatically. You hear about invites nobody opened and uploads nobody reviewed.
Expiry dates from day one
Require an expiry date on insurance and licenses, and WorkZerk keeps watching them long after the intake is done.
A record for every contractor
Everything they send stays on their contact record, across every portal they are on. The next job starts from what you already hold.
$9.95 a month, every feature included.
25 people can be onboarding at once, with no limit on how many you put through in a year. Colleagues who work in the account with you are $4 a month each.

Do contractors need an account or an app?
No. Each contractor gets a private link to their own portal. It opens in the browser on a phone or computer, with nothing to install and no password.
Can contractors sign themselves up?
Yes. Generate a self-registration link for a portal and publish it, or turn it into a QR code. Anyone who uses it enters their name and email and is sent their own portal link straight away.
What happens when their insurance expires?
If that upload requires an expiry date, WorkZerk flags it as expiring soon, can remind the contractor before it lapses, and lets you ask for a fresh copy in one click. See contractor compliance for more.
Is there a ready-made contractor pack for my country?
Yes, for Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US. Each one asks for the business or tax number, liability insurance with its expiry date, role-dependent licenses and insurance as optional asks, and payment details. Add it as your own pack and change anything you like.
Can I use it for employees too?
Yes. The same account runs staff onboarding: policies to sign, bank and tax details, and the induction.
How much does it cost?
One plan at $9.95 a month with every feature. 25 people can be onboarding at once, with no limit on how many you put through in a year. Try it free for 30 days, no credit card.
