Every subbie's ABN, insurance and white card, before they start.
Send each contractor one link. They enter their ABN, upload their certificates of currency, licence and white card, sign your agreement and complete the induction on their phone. WorkZerk chases whatever is missing and tracks every expiry date.
30-day free trial. No credit card.
Sound familiar?
"I'll get my broker to send the certificate"
Three weeks later it arrives in one person's inbox, and nobody writes down the date the policy runs out.
The white card is a photo in a text message
It is on the supervisor's phone, not on file, and the supervisor is on leave the day someone asks to see it.
The SWMS is still the one from the last job
Nobody asked for a new one, because nobody had a list of who had sent what for this site.
How contractor onboarding works for an Australian business
- Step 1
Start from the Australian contractor pack
It asks for the ABN, GST registration, a public liability certificate of currency and bank details, with workers compensation, a trade licence, a white card and a SWMS as optional asks. Add your contractor agreement and site induction.
- Step 2
Invite them, or let them sign up
Add contractors, or import a spreadsheet straight onto the portal so each one gets their own link. Or share a self-registration link and let your subcontractors add themselves.
- Step 3
Approve, and let the status follow
Approve what comes in, reject with a reason, and let an automation move them to "Cleared for site" when the paperwork is approved.
What the Australian contractor pack asks for
- ABN
- Whether they are registered for GST
- Public liability certificate of currency
- Workers compensation certificate of currency
- Trade licence, such as electrical or plumbing
- White card for construction sites
- Safe work method statement (SWMS)
- BSB and account number for payment
- Your own contractor agreement and site induction
Certificates of currency with their expiry dates
Each certificate carries the date it runs out. WorkZerk marks it current, expiring soon or expired, and emails the contractor before it lapses.
AI reads the expiry date for you
AI reads the date on the uploaded certificate and flags it when it differs from the date the contractor typed. You still approve every document.
One intake, many trades
The trade licence shows only to the electricians and plumbers, the white card only to the people going on a construction site. Nobody sees questions that do not apply to them.
The ABN stays on their record
The ABN and each certificate save to the contractor's contact record, so they count on every portal that asks for them. The next job starts from what you already hold.
Bank details kept private
Account numbers are stored encrypted, hidden from your team and shown in full only to admins, with every view logged.
A compliance report across every contractor
Contractors down the side, document types across the top, and a compliant or not compliant verdict for each one. Export it to CSV for a client or an auditor.
$9.95 a month, every feature included.
25 people can be onboarding at once, with no limit on how many you put through in a year. Colleagues who work in the account with you are $4 a month each.

Is WorkZerk an Australian product?
Yes. WorkZerk is built and supported in Brisbane by WorkZerk PTY Ltd. Support is open 9am to 5pm, 7 days, Brisbane time.
Do contractors pay anything, or need an account?
No to both. Each contractor opens a private link in the browser on their phone, with no account, no password and no app. Only you pay for WorkZerk.
Does WorkZerk check that a licence, white card or insurance policy is genuine?
No. WorkZerk keeps the copy the contractor uploaded, its expiry date and the record of who approved it and when. Its AI check compares the expiry date on the document with the date that was typed in. It does not check a licence number with a regulator or a policy with an insurer.
Is this a contractor prequalification service?
No. WorkZerk is software you run yourself: you decide what to ask for and you approve each document. Nobody at WorkZerk reviews your contractors' documents for you, and there is no contractor marketplace.
Can I change what the pack asks for?
Yes. Adding the pack makes a copy of your own. Delete the asks that never apply, add your own, and reorder them. The optional asks, such as the white card, can be skipped by a contractor they do not apply to.
How much does it cost?
One plan at $9.95 a month (US dollars) with every feature, and GST is added at checkout for Australian customers. 25 people can be onboarding at once. Try it free for 30 days, no credit card.
