WorkZerk vs Rapid Global.

An honest comparison for anyone weighing WorkZerk against Rapid Global. We make WorkZerk, so read it knowing that. Everything said about Rapid Global comes from its own website, terms and help centre, checked in October 2026, and the sources are listed at the foot of the page.

The short version

Rapid Global is an Australian company that sells a suite of workplace health and safety products: Rapid Contractor, Rapid Induct, Rapid Access, Rapid Permit and others, also sold together as Rapid One. It says more than 1,000 client organisations use it. Its depth is on site: online induction courses with assessments, visitor and contractor sign-in on a tablet, links to gates and door hardware, permits to work, and a database of contractor companies.

WorkZerk is onboarding software you run yourself, made in Brisbane. Each person gets one private link where they fill in your forms, upload their documents and sign. You approve what comes in, and WorkZerk sends the reminders and tracks every expiry date. It does the paperwork part of that job for a monthly price, and it covers staff/employees as well as contractors. It has no permit, incident or audit product.

Rapid Global pricing and WorkZerk pricing

Rapid Global

Rapid Global does not publish pricing. Its Rapid One page describes user pricing that depends on how many people you train, induct and provide access to, and its terms say fees are the amounts in an accepted quotation.

We could not find a free trial, or a way to sign up without requesting a sales demo.

WorkZerk

One plan at $9.95 a month, in US dollars, with every feature. 25 people can be onboarding at once, and each extra user is $4 a month. The people you onboard pay nothing.

The trial is 30 days with no credit card, and there is no setup fee.

Where Rapid Global is stronger

Site access
Sign-in on a tablet, by QR code or in an app, and links to physical gate, door and turnstile hardware. Compliance is checked at sign-in, so somebody who is not compliant can be refused entry. WorkZerk has a check-in button on each person's link and a roster, and connects to no hardware.
Induction and training
Online courses, SCORM uploads, pre-written courses, assessments and certificates, with reminders when a refresher is due. WorkZerk's induction is a checklist with documents and videos attached and a sign-off. It has no assessments.
The rest of a safety system
Incident reporting, audits and inspections under one subscription. WorkZerk has none of these.
Document checks that approve themselves
RapidCheck verifies documents with AI and can approve a contractor company when its last document passes. WorkZerk's AI reads the expiry date only, and a person approves every document.
Integrations
An API and named integrations with payroll, ERP and access control systems. WorkZerk has no API and no integrations.

Where WorkZerk is stronger

Nothing for the person to set up
Somebody you onboard in WorkZerk opens a private link and starts straight away. Rapid Global's help centre describes workers creating a MyRapid account with a password.
A price you can read
$9.95 a month, published, with every feature. Rapid Global prices by quotation, presumably after a sales demo.
No sales call
Sign up, use every feature for 30 days without a card, and decide. There is no demo to book and no implementation project.
Self setup. Sized for a small to medium sized operation
One plan, set up in an afternoon by whoever does the onboarding. Rapid Global lists integrations with SAP, IBM Maximo and Microsoft Dynamics, and provides a project co-ordinator for implementation.

How to choose

Consider Rapid Global if you control access to a site and need inductions with assessments, sign-in at the gate, permits to work, incidents and audits in one system.

Consider WorkZerk if what you need is the paperwork: forms, documents, signatures and expiry dates from staff and contractors, securely collected through a simple link, for a small to medium sized operation that does not need a full safety suite.

The quickest test is to put one real contractor or new starter through WorkZerk. The trial has every feature switched on, so you will know within a week whether it fits.

WorkZerk covers forms, document uploads, signatures, expiry tracking (including AI date checking), reminders, a compliance report and a simple site check-in. It is not a replacement where you need hardware integration, induction courses with assessments, kiosk sign-in, access control hardware, permits to work, incidents or audits.
